I really would buy this again and again

I have thin long dry hair that are very prone to become frizzy and tangle together and this brush saved me!!

I would not buy this again.

The brush is falling apart. I started to brush my hair and then this started to happen. I have never had a brush do this before. I have never used heat or anything on it. I just use it to brush my hair after the shower.

I would NOT buy this brush

I have been a loyal Aveda customer for over 20 years and have always loved their products. I would not, however, buy this brush. I have had it a few years and it is falling apart. I do not use it with heat (I use my round brush) and really can't understand why it is falling apart. It is like the cushion is dry rotted. I contacted customer service and because it is over a year old (after chatting for over 45 minutes) they would not replace the brush. I have had brushes that are half the price last forever! I am disappointed with the quality of this brush as well as the lack of loyalty from their customer service department to me.

Not like they used to make them.

As many others have stated, I have used my old wooden paddle brush from Aveda for the close to 20 years. As it was literally falling apart, I ordered a new one. The wood is pretty but chipping. Like cheap furniture made of particle board with a coating. This is literally out of the packaging. Yes, there is now one bristle missing ad a design change but many others have said multiple bristles fell out and they simply reply the same scripted message. Yes, the bristles are sharper. My other bristles didn't change their feel after close to 2 decades and never scratched and I only brush my hair when it's dry. Haven't had it long enough to see if it will fall apart with normal use but this is not the same quality as it used to be. If you never got one back when and or have much lower expectations, then it's fine. But def NOT worth what they still charge for much less quality of a product. Like going from an Amish built home to a Ryan home
