THE CRADLE OF PERFUMERY
Grasse, a region located in the south of France, is at the heart of the history of Dior fragrances. Christian Dior settled there to grow the Dior flowers used to make Dior fragrances. Today, Dior finds Grasse's incomparable climate and territory uniquely suitable to cultivate rose of May and jasmine grandiflorum flowers.
THE EMBODIMENT OF CREATION
Dior's exclusive fragrance designer, François Demachy embodies the expertise and creativity of Dior fragrances. Thereon, it is in the heart of Grasse, in his creation studio that each Dior fragrance will be created.
A QUEST FOR THE FINEST INGREDIENTS
In order to guarantee the excellence quality of Dior fragrances, François Demachy travels around the world in search of the rarest raw materials.
Since the beginning, in 1947, Christian Dior expressed his desire to be both a fashion designer and a perfumer. He drew out of his passion for flowers the contours of the style of Dior fragrances marked by the modernity of his creations.
Dior believed that the bottle reflects the soul of the fragrance. The bottles of some iconic fragrances are handmade by the ladies working in the house's workshops who perpetuate a great deal of craftsmanship.
