Great for dermatitis

OK, I will start off by saying I never buy Loccitane products because they are so very expensive! But I was having some dermatitis on my hands and I saw a content creator say that this was the only thing that helped her so I figured it was worth a try. It really did work! Yes, it is expensive and it is annoying to use, but I only use it after I shower when my hands are very clean. I take a little bit of product and rub it between my hands to make it more creamy and then rub it to my affected areas. It lasts quite a long time and I’ve been on the same tin for months. I also love how convenient it is for travel. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Overpriced, not very moisturizing

The "tub" is tiny relative to the price, and the contents are nothing special. Skin felt dry very shortly after application

AMAZING!

I got this shea butter in a mini size for a gift! I use this product as a moisturizer for my cuticles and dry lips. When I apply a thick amount of product and sleep over the night, I wake up with soft and smooth lips in the morning! this product is great overall but the only thing to consider is this product is very easy to melt:( But the product by itself worked great for my dry areas so I highly recommend it!

Works well on dryness.

Works very well on my feet, which are the driest part of me. Helps keep my skin supple and smooth.

Best foot lotion

I used this on my hands & feet, but it only works on feet or skin you don’t wash several times in the day. It’s like a slightly heated wax, I apply it at night to my feet and put on a pair of old socks. It’s the only lotion that works on my feet

The container is flimsy and won't close

I am so sorry to give this product one star, but I have to because of the container. It is flimsy, and once opened, it cannot be tightly closed. Because the product doesn't have preservatives, it will go rancid quickly. Too bad. Love the product itself. I order 2--one as a gift. The seal was broken on one; the other had dents in it. I actually called L'Occitane to find out if there was a way to keep the shea butter protected. There was a long pause when I asked the question. The agent put me on hold. When she came back she gave me instructions for how to close a "bottle." When I said it was tin tub, there was no response whatsoever! I lost patience and hung up. I am returning both the 2 containers shea butter. I am going to try to find another brand that is as pure as L'Occitane, but that has a top that actually closes. What a fiasco on the part of L"Occitane--cutting corners will get you nowhere. Don't buy this if you want a product that doesn't go bad.

love, super moisturizing

Love! I have been using this over 10 years for my feet that get cracked. I put it on with socks. It would also work well for lips, elbows, etc. love that it’s just 1 ingredient, pure shea butter

staple

This butter is the perfect occlusive for aging skin; I I use it every night to prevent crepiness and drying of skin on neck. There is no scent , price is fair IMO. Recommend

Use on Tattoos

I use this on all of my tattoos after taking the saniderm bandage off about 5-7 days after getting tattooed. It’s HEAVY so I use the tiniest amount but I love knowing what’s in it and I don’t have to worry about there being alcohol like most unscented lotions. This combined with saniderm, I will never use anything else. It’s also a great all around body moisturizer for the dry times.

One of the best products on the market. Use it on your lips, smooth into the ends of your hair (you know they are dry) hands, feet, even around your eyes if they are parched. Okay alittle goes a long way. Use on DRY hair, not wet. Really great for flat iron users. Since you can use this on the whole body I recommend sanitizing this once a week. Spray with alittle rubbing alcohol & wipe out with a tissue. Unless you buy one for your feet and another for the rest of your body. This product will save your skin during the winter. Good for the whole family.

Cracked heel saver!

I absolutely love this stuff! I get the worst cracked heels. It's so embarrassing. LOL Nothing has ever worked for me (other than soaking my feet every night, which is a pain). My mom suggested shea butter, and she was right. After applying nightly, the cracks have gone. I also use it to groom my eyebrows (they get wild as you get older). And, it's great as a lip balm and to keep my elbows moisturized. I've had it since Jan, and there's still a bit left, so it's lasted a while. Well worth it!
