I adore this palette. Its my everyday go-to & always will be until i find something else that has perfect tones for my skin.

Love the cool toned powders!

This was one of the first contour products I ever bought way back in the early-mid 2010s, and I still repurchase the refills (when I can find them) to this day. Depending on your intentions for this product, it could be more worthwhile for most people to just buy the refills and forgo the pallet. If I had know what I know now, that what I would have done. However having the variety could be helpful for people new to contour, so they can determine which mix of shades are most appropriate for them. Likewise, for others it may be necessary to use a blend of the colors, for example people who are cool-neutral may find that mixing the cool and neutral shades will work better than either on its own. My mother is more neutral than I am, and while the cool tones did still suit her best, the other shades were useful/necessarily to get a more appropriate match. The contour shades are the high point of this product for me, specially the cool toned shade. I have very fair, cool tone skin, thus many contours are too warm/yellow/orange for me. The taupe refill contour shades (there are actually two available as refills) that KVD has are amongst my favorite powder contours of all time, and I continue to repurchase them almost a decade later. KVD offers one of the few contour shades available that is properly greyish and cool-toned, which is ideally what you want when contouring on pale skin. An added benefit is that the powder is even cool enough to “tone down” some of the “too warm” cream contours available, many of which tend to pull yellow/orange, especially on pale skin. The formula itself is nothing special but it is functional, blends fairly easily and is generally forgiving. While I don’t know if I would recommend the pallet itself to everyone, I would highly recommend checking out the refills that correspond to your specific tone; especially if you have been struggling with contours looking too orange.

This face pallet is beautiful on the skin and wears very well all day. I have been eyeing it for quite a while and finally got around to buying it. Not disappointed one bit.

They changed the formula

It smells sweet and the fallout is terrible. I have more of the product on my counter and clothes than I do my face. This is really sad because I liked the original so much.
