amazing for thin, fine, hard to curl hair

If you have thin and fine hair that won’t hold a curl this is for you. Nothing and I mean nothing helps my hair hold a curl. This stuff… I used it yesterday on 2nd day hair following the dry shampoo and my hair held all day! Even in Alabama humidity with rain most of the day yesterday. I am impressed. Unfortunately, everywhere stays sold out of this stuff. Please restock asap. The attached pictures are from 8:30 am and 5:30 pm. I used Amika dry shampoo then used my Dyson round brush to brush the dry shampoo though my hair. Then I sprayed this on my hair and used my straightener to make the curls. Took me about 20 minutes from start to finish.

Severely disappointed

I saw a TikTok on this and had to buy immediately. Video showed how it helped the curl hold in high humidity- video showed a steamer against the curl. Michigan is HUMID during the summer. My hair is naturally curly and holds curls very well. I used this on each section of hair before curling and did my usual routine of letting the hair cool before fluffing. My hair pretty much fell the minute I stepped outside. No humidity protection at all. Don’t waste your money.

I did not enjoy this. It didn’t work for me and I don’t like the smell. I was hoping it would have that classic Amika smell that is AMAZING but this one smells completely different

#1st ingredient is Butane/Fossil Fuel

I was excited to try this it being recommended by my usual stylist and a new colorist I just tried. I love the packaging, and that it's cruetly free. However, I wish I read the ingredients ahead of time. The first ingredient is butane, which comes from fossil fuel. You can't promote a product as cruelty free when it's first ingredient is destroying our planet and ecosystems. Won't be buying this again.

I have super frizzy crazy hair, and I live in Virginia where it is HOT and HUMID. This stuff makes my hair so soft and shiny and super cuts down on the frizz! This is NOT a hairspray! Use it as a heat protectant *before* you style your hair. Then finish with your favorite hairspray. The point is not to hold your style but to prevent your hair from getting big and frizzy - it totally delivers!

Ineffective for me

I saw a TikTok about this spray and bought two bottles without checking the reviews. I normally wouldn’t do that, but in the video, this spray looked amazing! Sadly, this product did nothing for me. I have really thick hair and live in Wisconsin, where it gets super humid in the summer. This didn’t hold my style in place at all and made my hair super greasy and gross. I’ve had better results with drugstore products! I will be returning both bottles. I gave it two stars because it smells good and has a super fine mist which is hard to find in a heat protectant spray.

Did nothing for me

I’m confused because I saw this advertised on tiktok. Looked very promising as a style extender. I have thick, super straight hair, and my curls fell just as flat as they would have without this product. Not worth the price. Returning.

This product really works. I have very fine hair that frizzes like crazy with even the slightest bit of humidity. This has made a difference.

Works perfect in Florida!

A must-have product! Lightweight. Controls frizz and flyaways. Don’t need to use much. Smells great. I’ve been looking for something like this for a looong time to work for Florida weather - yay!

not incentivized... - absolutely life changing for curly / frizzy hair - not a salon keratin treatment but undeniably the closest you'll get to one at home - you have to use a fair amount... like once before oils/leave-ins then again section by section as you use hot tools (those that say it does not work are maybe not using heat / ignoring that this is a heat activated product) - literally panicked that this is out of stock on multiple sites...I can't/don't want to imagine my life with out this product - I think it smells bomb but could see how it might be a bit strong for folks

What I've been looking for

I have always used the bb invisible oil heat and uv protective primer because it was the only one I found that can be used on wet and dry hair and protected against heat and UV. However, whenever I use it on dry hair, it weighs my hair down and makes it greasy. I have been searching for a heat and uv protectant that is good for dry hair that didn't make your hair look greasy or sticky. THIS IS IT! The aerosol makes it great for dry hair and on top of that it helps with humidity. Some people are complaining about the smell. I am extreme sensitive to scents and this just smells like a tropical citrus mango smell and doesn't linger. Maybe they got a bad bottle?

Does the job but……horrible smell

It won’t leave your hair sticky the hot tool absorbs it but The smell is horrible perhaps it’s supposed to be a “citrus” scent but it smells like dirty arm pits reason for the 3 star rating.
