Let's start of this review with the negatives. Firstly, the product formulation. As this is a gelled oil formulation you must ensure to shake the product really quite well before taking some out otherwise a lot of the oil with drip out not only causing a mess but not the right texture that this product should provide (if you shake it well enough, you'll understand what I mean). Secondly, the scent. This has a dominant oily almost rancid oil scent with a whiff of La Mer in the background, I could see this turning people of as it's not the most pleasant but it doesn't bother me personally. Finally, whilst not a negative for me it may be for people whose skin is more fragile than my own. This is really quite a harsh product, used on freshly cleansed dry skin it's an intensive scrub but if you dilute it with water like La Mer recommend it's not worth your time using it. I've discovered the best way to use this is to mix an appropriate amount with some of The Cleansing Lotion, it retains its grittiness whilst being softened from the cleanser. Now onto to good. You use this after cleansing on a dry skin used as described above, I like to massage for one minute, add some water and massage for a further 30 seconds, once rinsed your skin will be baby soft with no oily residue but a hydrated smoothness I've never experienced from any other exfoliator. My personal tip? Use this once a week (for example a Monday) and then use a chemical exfoliator on another day (I do a Thursday to ensure enough time in between exfoliation). You will be left with the instant gratification of physically exfoliating and the radiance of the chemical exfoliant *chefs kiss*. Finally the packaging, it's a user friendly tube that feels heavy and looks very sleek . Just ensure to shake the product up as mentioned before trying to take some out!

it works fine. The smell is very bad, I end up washing my face and hands again after with different product to help get the smell off. Also, it does seem to separate in the tube. so you should squish it around a little inside. a little goes a long way which is nice.

This makes my pores feel so refined and they actually look much smaller. I love the way my face feels so moisturized and soft after using this. I can't even lie, I do enjoy using this almost daily lol. I dont care about the price. This is def a staple piece

Amazing for large pore problem areas!

HOLY GRAIL! The way my skin feels when I use this is amazing. I have large pores and blackheads that if I don’t manage get nasty. I noticed a difference with this right away and my skin feels really fresh and rejuvenated. The smell isn’t that bad, it’s definitely a more natural smell that doesn’t feel artificial.
