Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres uses direct vitamin C and hyaluronic acid to help visibly reduce signs of aging by brightening and balancing uneven skin tone. This water-free formula provides 23% pure L-Ascorbic Acid which remains completely stable due to the absence of water. What’s more? This water-free formula is supported with spheres of hyaluronic acid for added hydration. Note: The slightly granular texture of this product is due to the vitamin C powder being suspended in an oil-like base and therefore each application requires a few seconds to feel absorbed by the skin. If desired, this formula can be diluted in a cream base per application to allow the skin to build tolerance over time.
Note: In its pure form, vitamin C is unstable in water. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a water-soluble derivative of vitamin C. It is much more stable in water but it is less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid.

no. just no.

Do not buy this. I am usually a huge fan of the ordinary but this I just cannot stand. It has a gag worthy smell and feels very grainy, almost like it has sand in it. on the first day i was unsure about it but tried it, nothing, but in the second day when I applied it, I got immediate hives on my cheek and a strong burning sensation. tbh this is a waste of money. I have dry sensitive skin for reference.

I absolutely hate this Vitamin c. If you have oil skin like me, do a favor for yourself and don’t get this one. It will make your skin more oily that usual and it does not get along with other skincare products. You have to be careful which type of product you use because this one does not accept creams, gel or liquids products.

worth it for me. to each their own

I'm nearly done with the 1 oz mini size. My skin type is normal but sensitive. I've been on a journey of trying to balance my hormones so I'll have a breakout when I haven't been eating well. I didn't notice a huge difference until one of my breakouts caused me some anxiety. It clears up then comes right back! So I got consisten with my night routine & realized this was a game changer for me. I don't do too many skin care steps. Just the basic exfoliant, 1 or 2 serums, & moisturizer.. this is my night skincare routine. After being consistent for that week I noticed after each use, my breakout calmed down.. AFTER EACH USE. I used it by mixing with my moisturizer or another serum at first, but then got use to the texture. The smell is a little stinky but hey. It helped my self esteem so much. I have to buy another bottle! I hope this helps.

Don't waste your money

Ugh !!! I'm a huge Ordinary fan. But this stuff I actually threw in the trash. I didn't care for the consistency. Too oily for me. And it has these weird small balls of something. I use paulas choice 25% vitamin C serum. It's a little expensive, but it lasts for two months. And I saw actual results.

This did nothing for my skin. The only thing that happened was that my skin got red and it felt kind of itchy and it would peel off. Don’t know if that’s normal for vitamin c but I didn’t like it at all. I’ve found better results by using a retinol night cream instead.

I should have read more reviews first because it does smell very metallic like. If you don't mind the smell then go for it, but me personally, I couldn't stand the smell and it stuck to my hand through numerous washes.

Works but pills like crazy

While this definitely helps brighten dark spots on my face (especially those caused by acne) I cannot stand the product pilling when I try to add even a moisturizer

Glow with Side Effects

Really strong. Be careful if you have sensitive skin. Does not wear well under makeup. Has a gritty texture that adds to irritation potential. DOES give a nice glow, though.

Love It! Great Results!

I have been using Vitamin C Suspension 23% for a few weeks. I like to alternate products and this is one of 3 Vitamin C face products I use. The texture is a bit gritty with a moisturizing, slightly oily feel; many people may not like this but I love it. I only use at night because it is on the oilier side. I only use a pea size amount which is more than enough (slightly more if I use on my neck), followed by a night time moisturizer. I use up to 2-3 nights per week. My skin is definitely smoother, brighter, and dewy soft when I wake in the morning. Yes, it does have a slightly rancid smell (which is mentioned in the product description); I do not mind the smell as it does not linger. I will purchase again and keep this product as a staple in my skincare routine.

Gritty but works

Yes it’s a little gritty and feels like exfoliating product. Once you add a moisturizer, the grittiness goes away. Definitely noticed a difference in improvement of my skin. More even skin tone, less dark acne marks, and smoother skin.

does not irritate

so far as I use this every morning over toner it has not irritated my sensitive skin, which i am happy about. still to early to tell if it is working. one thing i don't like is just the container, as if you stand it up, the serum blurts out, more than i want. not a deal breaker.

Girl don’t do it

Somehow super liquidy but gritty asf when you put it on your skin. Oxidizes BAD. This made me look like a Victorian child crawling out of the mines, literally does the opposite of brightening. 0/10
