Wet Stick Moisturizing Shiny Sheer Lipstick

A really pretty, hydrating lipstick

People only ever talk about Kosas base products, but this is a really nice sheer lipstick. Super comfortable to wear, easy to apply without a mirror, looks great.

Too thin

Gave 2 stars for the beautiful shade and nice packaging, but the product itself is not worth it. It’s super thin with zero lasting power and is legit gone by the time you arrive to work after commuting! I much prefer my YSL candy glow in 7B.

Will keep repurchase

Sleek packaging with a magnetic clasp. Smooth application and very hydrating. Last all day, with minimal reapplication. No scent, which I prefer! Cost is most definitely worth it because it last year's.

Good—but not great

Usually love Kosas products, and this one starts out really great. Love the magnetic packaging tube, first off. The product is ridiculously buttery when you put it on, and then it dries down to a sort of velvet texture. Perfect balance between pigment and a sheer, glossy feel—it's a great middle ground between a lipstick and a tint. But as other reviews have mentioned, it is ridiculously drying. My lips get so flaky after putting it on and that doesn't happen even with matte lipsticks. I end up layering a ton of gloss on top just to hide all the dry skin on my lips. Really hope that improve the formulation on this because I want to love it so bad.

moisturizing sheer color

I loved the old Kosas lipsticks and I haven't tried the new version yet. I'm in the era of lip liner + sheer lipstick or a non sticky gloss so this one seemed a good option. These feel like a lip balm with color. They are sheer and you can build the color up. I own Heatwave (nude) and Baby rose (pink) but I plan on getting more. Highly recommend

Dried lips

This dried out my lips.. it felt so gross. I was pretty excited to try it, but I had to send it back

Brown girl friendly!

Tropic Bliss is a beautiful nude for brown and darker skin tones! I've tried 'gloss in a lipstick" products from YSL, Dior, and Fenty and I found KOSAS to be the lighter formula while still being moisturizing with a nice colour payoff and decent wear-time.

Meh

After having this product for many months I would not repurchase. It applies very thin and you get a flush of color but within the hour or so the product is gone. My lips also didn’t feel hydrated afterwards. It’s a big let down for me because I’m a huge fan of Kosas

A gloss in a lipstick bullet

This is gorgeous! The color is somewhat sheer but buildableC but it is so, so moisturizing. I gave it four stars because the color does not last as long as I would like, but the moisture you get makes a reapply well with it. It is all the benefits of a gloss in the convenience of a lipstick.
